About my studio's.
Connect your spirit to nature with art.
Nature, gardens filled with flowers blooming, sun filters down through the ancient trees, birds chirp without a care, and a doe watches you as you walk through the wood. You can smell the sweet scent of fern and sweet grasses, the landscape alive. Not knowingly, you are drawn into part of the tapestry, the woven threads that form nature. This is my favorite place among the flower petals and bumblebees. This experience of being in nature is hopefully experienced in my work. Creating art with the energy and spirit of nature is always present in my botanical illustrations. I hope my work connects you to nature. Where I am now with my creative process? My studio specializes in botanical flowers in watercolor and have developed a technique for applying my botanical garden flower illustrations in watercolor on hand painted furniture. Creating watercolor paintings and flower illustrations and finding new ways to utilize my work. I am expanding and enriching my watercolor designs with new techniques and processes. I am working with a technique using watercolor and gouaches on furniture. I have included giclee prints and home decor with FineArtAmerica and Society6. Experience. I received my BA in Studio Arts, where I studied the fine art of printmaking, painting and interior design. I have been painting, drawing, designing all my life. My very first love was and still is watercolor paintings. Andrew Wyeth’s watercolors and Redoute’s illustrations inspire my work. My work experience includes working closely with an interior designer at Sotheby's in NYC for restoration of painted chairs.
